About the brand

Dustin discovered his passion for watches at the age of 16 while working part-time in a small watch factory. Years later, he found that the timeless watches he admired remained beyond the reach of many people.

He set out to create a different kind of watch: minimalist, dependable, and thoughtfully made without the traditional luxury markup. In October 2016, the first STERNGLAS timepiece was successfully launched through Kickstarter.

STERNGLAS watches are shaped by the principles of Bauhaus design: clarity, function, and restraint. Every dial, case, and detail is developed to feel timeless rather than tied to a passing trend.

From slim quartz watches to mechanical automatic models, the collection combines clean proportions, dependable materials, and a distinctly Hamburg point of view.

By working directly with suppliers, maintaining a lean team, and avoiding expensive celebrity campaigns and prestige markups, STERNGLAS can concentrate on what matters: considered design, reliable quality, and honest value.

Today, STERNGLAS timepieces are worn around the world and available through more than 450 authorised jewellers.
